Do you remember when TV was Television — not Cable TV or Satellite TV — just Television? Back then, families joined together each night to enjoy the first network programming, movies and broadcast events of our generation, for free. We sat in awe of how the technology of the time had taken us from Radio all the way to our first broadcast television program. Before long, we were enjoying The Beatles live on Ed Sullivan, the Super Bowl and were even witness to fifty-million people coming together to say goodbye and farewell to M*A*S*H. It hasn’t always been lollipops and gum drops, most of us have a moment burnt into our minds that we will never forget. Television has that effect, it can excite, inspire and terrify, sometimes all at the same time.

These days, as the landscape changes, television viewing habits have moved online. Now we can watch every memorable moment of our lives online, free and most times in high definition. The “TV” itself, instead of being the focal point, is now just a piece a hardware used in conjunction with our computer, mobile device or tablet PC. In the past we needed to rush to any television we could find in hopes of being lucky enough to catch a glimpse of something magical. Now you can access the content you desire on any number of hardware devices, wherever you are.
